Springfield, MA (12/19/2025) — Springfield College President Mary-Beth Cooper has announced the hiring of Michael Jarry as Vice President for Finance and Administration. He will begin his time on campus on January 26, 2026.

"Michael joins us at a meaningful moment for Springfield College as we continue to strengthen our foundation for the future. With nearly two decades of financial leadership across complex, mission-driven organizations, he brings the experience, perspective, and steady leadership that will serve our community well," said Cooper.

Jarry currently serves as Chief Financial Officer for The Loomis Communities, where he provides strategic financial leadership, oversees operational performance, and supports long-range planning for a multilevel senior living organization. Prior to joining The Loomis Communities, he spent more than eleven years at Baystate Health, where he held a series of progressively senior finance leadership roles, including Senior Director of Finance for Hospital Operations, Director of Financial Analysis and Business Performance, and Manager of Health System Financial Reporting.

"It is truly a privilege to be able to serve Springfield College as its next Vice President for Finance and Administration. Being born and raised in Springfield, I join this community with an engrained respect, appreciation, and pride for our college and its mission. I am eager to bring my 20-plus years of financial leadership experience to support the College's strategic priorities," said Jarry.

Earlier in his career, Jarry developed a strong technical foundation in public accounting as an auditor with Deloitte, followed by service as a Senior Accountant responsible for Securities and Exchange Commission reporting at Northeast Utilities.
