Springfield College's Commitment to Veterans to Be Featured on National Television
Springfield, MA (10/17/2023) — Springfield College was chosen as the featured institution in a special edition of the Lifetime network show "Military Makeover." The episode, Operation Education: From Soldier to Student-Paving a Path to Success for Our Nation's Heroes, is scheduled to air in January 2024. Filming for the show will take place on campus on November 10, 2023.
Members of the Springfield College community will gather for a Veterans Day Observance ceremony on Friday, November 10, starting at 12:15 pm in front of Marsh Hall (Rain Location: Marsh Chapel). This year will be special as we will honor not only our veterans but also military-connected students and employees.
The Veterans Day ceremony is annually planned by a small committee led by the Office of Spiritual Life and pays tribute to all veterans who have served and continue to serve our country.
