Mohammed Rashwan of Al-Madinah, FC (01123) is the recipient of the 2016 Springfield College Class of '57 Outstanding Senior Leadership Chair.

This award honors a senior who has demonstrated the ability to work as an effective group member and group leader, has made significant contributions to the community, and has an understanding and appreciation of the opportunities and challenges in a world that is increasingly diverse, multicultural, and international. This award was established in 2002 with generous contributions from members of the Class of 1957.

Rashwan is majoring in Emergency Medical Services Management.

The Springfield College Division of Student Affairs recognizes student leaders for their significant contributions to Springfield College and/or the city of Springfield at the annual Stepping Up Day Awards Ceremony each year.
