Erin Womboldt of Falmouth, MA (02540) is the recipient of the 2015 Springfield College Body Award.

This award is presented to a student who, while at Springfield College, has made an extraordinary contribution to improving the health and physical well-being of individuals at the College or in the surrounding community through cocurricular and extracurricular efforts. The recipient demonstrates the valuable impact that individuals can make in changing the places, organizations, and systems that touch the lives of people, whether at work or at play, and exemplifies the College's commitment to overall wellness and constructive, cooperative community engagement.

Womboldt has taken a passion and made a life of promoting wellness and inclusivity on campus, whether it is through her athletic career or her work as a Peer Educator in the PAWS program. She has expanded her horizons of diversity through The Vagina Monologues, Residence Life and as a member of the Fit 2 Lead, Living Learning Community for three years.
