Christie Idiong of Middletown, CT (06457) is the recipient of the 2015 Springfield College PRIDE (Proud Recognition of Individuals Dedicated to Excellence) Award for Outstanding Junior.

This award is presented to a junior who has consistently been involved in activities demonstrating leadership in service to humanity, and who has the ability to think critically and assess personal strengths and weaknesses in reflective and interactive practice.

Idiong has been involved with the Student Ambassadors program helping advocate for Springfield College and helping families determine that Springfield College is the right choice for them. Idiong is an exceptional Pre-Camp leader who is not only there for the incoming students during the program but continues the relationship afterwards. She is Vice President of Business Affairs, keeping everything in order and always being there to help clubs with any questions they may have.

The Springfield College Division of Student Affairs recognizes student leaders for their significant contributions to Springfield College and/or the city of Springfield at the annual PRIDE Awards Ceremony each year.
