Alison Dombroski Receives Springfield College Friends in Humanics Scholarship

Alison Dombroski of Forest City, PA, 18421, received the 2011 Springfield College Friends in Humanics Scholarship, at the college's 85th Stepping Up Day ceremonies, at the Richard B. Flynn Campus Union Patio, on April 14, 2011, on the college campus. Dombroski, a second-year student whose major field of study is communications/sports jrnlism, received the presentation from Robert Barkman, distinguished Springfield College professor of humanics.

The Friends in Humanics Scholarship is awarded to a Springfield College student who demonstrates the humanics philosophy through contributions on and off the campus. Humanics focuses on education of the whole person – spirit, mind and body – for leadership in service to humanity.
